Modeling
WRF
15 February - 14 March 2004 || Feb 2003
Model set up: RADM2 chemical mechanism. Resolution = 6km (600x600 km domain). Two day
simulation, starting 16 February 2003. Initialized with background concentrations from
MOZART-2.

FZCO_0226-0304.ppt = 24-hr average CO column and vertical cross sections in the NE direction, for 26 February - 4 March 2004.FZCO_0228-0301.ppt = 2-hr snapshots of CO column and vertical cross section, from 10:00 am LT 28 February to 10:00 am LT 1 March 2004.
FZO3_0228-0301.ppt = 2-hr snapshots of O3 column and vertical cross section, from 10:00 am LT 28 February to 10:00 am LT 1 March 2004.
Movies
Movies (24 hrs) are available for column CO and surface CO, for all
days from 15 February to 14 March. Download all movies
(14.2 Mb zip file).
From within NCAR, the movies can be viewed as PowerPoint files. To view, click below and
open PowerPoint from within your browser, then start slide show. Click to advance to next
day. On some days, model runs were interrupted and movies may appear discontinous.

Table 1: Summary of Outflow Directions, based on column CO.
Out of the 29 days modeled, 13 days (45%) showed prevailing outflow of the CO column toward the NE. Surface CO outflow is more erratic.
